We work hard to keep fees in line with the Nursery Education Funding. As these are subject to change, please contact the treasurer (firstname.lastname@example.org) for the most up to date fees. The fees from September 2016 are £5.50 per hour, which is £16.50 per session.
Fees can be paid
- By the Nursery Education Fund (for 3 year olds)
- In full each term either online, by cheque, or in cash
- Monthly using Childcare Vouchers.
- In instalments – please contact the treasurer to arrange a payment plan
- By the Early Education Fund (for eligible 2 year olds)
From the term after your child’s third birthday your child will be eligible to claim the Nursery Education Fund from the Local Education Authority. This grant covers the entire session fee. See the Funding page for more information.
Invoices are handed out termly (six times a year) or can be emailed to you if you provide the Supervisor or Treasurer with your email address. You can pay directly to our bank account (St Peter’s Under 5’s Group, Account Number 80746371, Sort Code 20-65-18). Cash or cheque payments are also acceptable and should be given to the Supervisor or Treasurer in an envelope with your name and your child’s name written clearly. Cheques should be made out to “St Peter’s Under 5’s Group”.
Our Playgroup is part of various childcare voucher schemes including Accor Services, kidsunlimited Childcare Voucher Scheme and Childcare Plus. Parents who want to take advantage of this service should find out about any schemes that are on offer at their place of work and get in touch with the Treasurer (email@example.com).
We want to be accessible to all. If you have problems paying the fees, please talk either to the Supervisor or Treasurer as soon as possible. It is possible to pay weekly in advance by arrangement, although the commitment is for the whole term. Parents may be eligible for free early education funding from the Local Education Authority, for more details see the funding page. However, financial assistance is not guaranteed and parents should pay full fees until the result of their application is known.
It is our policy to keep fees as low as possible, charging only enough to cover running costs such as salaries, rent and insurance. Therefore we cannot refund for non-attendances due to parental choice, the child not settling, illness, holidays during term time etc.
